Give Thanks

As I continued on my morning jog, the lyrics to the song "Give Thanks" by Deon Moen fell into my heart. "Give thanks with a grateful heart. Give thanks to the Holy One. Give thanks because He's given Jesus Christ, His Son." So guess what I decided to do; give thanks. I started thanking him for the beautiful view I am allowed to see, for the fresh air I am able to breathe, for the smooth path I am able to jog on. I am just truly thankful for it all.

However, as I continue to grow in life, I know that I have to constantly give thanks for any nd everything. I read in I Thessalonians 5:18 (KJV), "In every thing give thanks: for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you." After reading that verse, I decided to make that apart of my everyday life. I encourage you to do the same. Take a moment to meditate and thank about all the areas of your life that you should be thankful and see how your mode changes and how bug that smile becomes on your face.
